A edição deste ano do tradicional show de variedades da família Real britânica promete ser animada: a convidada especial da noite de gala é Lady Gaga. A controversa cantora americana de 23 anos foi convocada para se apresentar no evento na noite do dia 7 de dezembro, que deve ser prestigiado pela Rainha Elizabeth II e pelo Príncipe de Gales.
Na última apresentação de Lady Gaga, no VMA, a cantora apareceu coberta de sangue artificial e terminou seu número pendurada no teto, como se tivesse sido enforcada. A produção do evento declarou ao jornal "Telegraph" que espera que Gaga pegue leve nas esquisitices. Será?
Além de Lady Gaga, o show de variedades da família Real terá a participação da atriz Whoopi Goldberg e dos cantores Mika e Michel Buble.

Rihanna é flagrada usando "soco-inglês", nos EUA

Parece que Rihanna está se preparando para qualquer tipo de agressão. A cantora foi flagrada, em Nova York, usando uma peça que lembrava um soco-inglês, formado por quatro anéis de ouro, que uniam os dedos da mão direita.
Ela ainda completou o visual excêntrico com um chapéu de soldado, botas, uma calça preta e jaqueta listrada.
Na próxima semana, a cantora de 21 anos fará um show especial, em Londres, para uma marca de celulares. Ela apresentará músicas do novo trabalho, "Rated R", como o single "Russian Roulete".
Rihanna também participará do programa "The X Factor", reality show que revelou a cantora Leona Lewis, no mesmo dia de lançamento do álbum, em 23 de novembro. "Estou muito animada. Foi a decisão mais fácil da minha vida", afirmou.

Apesar de o mais novo sucesso de Miley Cyrus, "Party in the USA", falar de uma música de Jay-Z, a cantora revelou em entrevista à revista "US Weekly" que jamais ouviu uma música do rapper. E ainda por cima esnobou a música pop!

"Eu nunca ouvi uma música dele. Não tenho o hábito de ouvir música pop", disse ela.

Apesar de constar como uma das compositoras do sucesso, Miley contou que não fez a letra. "Sinceramente, eu só escolhi esta música porque precisava de algo para usar com a divulgação de minha linha de roupas. Nem esperava que ela fosse fazer tanto sucesso. Nem é meu tipo de música”.
